Conversations with Trans.audacity is an ongoing symposium developed in 2007 as an undergraduate at SAIC.  Appearing first as a radio show engaging artists and thinkers in a discussion of art and pedagogy, the discussion continued in a series of low-quality video interviews with additional artists. 

 

Following the completion of my MFA at CalArts, I moved Conversations with Trans.audacity to Kchung radio in 2013.

 

The series’ current iteration is a collection of videos in which artists share their work and studio practice.

 

At the project’s heart is a desire to build a community through the exchange ideas; and to learn how artists develop their practice – a topic whose discussion is missing within the LA art community.
